B-BBEE AFFIDAVIT
B-BBEE is an integrated and coherent socio-economic process, which directly contributes to the economic transformation of South Africa. Customers can complete a B-BBEE Affidavit, signed by an Commissioner of Oaths, and hand it instead of the B-BBEE certificate. Once the B-BBEE Affidavit has been stamped by a Commissioner of Oaths, the B-BBEE Affidavit serves as a B-BBEE certificate as no other verification is required for Exempted Micro Enterprises.
Annual Returns
An Annual Return is a statutory return in terms of the Companies and Close Corporations Acts and therefore MUST be complied with. Failure to do so will result in the Commission assuming that the company and/or close corporation is not doing business or is not intending on doing business in the near future.
Director Changes
New directors may be elected by the Board of Directors when there is a vacancy or the company wishes to add directors. Vacancies on the board arise if a director: (a) Resigns or dies. (b) Ceases to hold the office, title or designation in the company that entitles the person to be an ex officio director. (c) Becomes incapacitated or disqualified or (d) Is removed.
REGISTER FOR COIDA
The aim of the COIDA Act is to provide for compensation in the case of disablement caused by occupational injuries and diseases, sustained or contracted by employees in the course of their employment, or death resulting from such injuries and diseases; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
TAX Clearance
A Tax Clearance Certificate is a document issued by SARS which validates your status as taxpayer and confirms that your tax affairs are in order at the date of issue. The Tax Clearance Certificate is required for people who (a). Apply for government tenders or advertised bids. (b) Need to verify if they are tax compliant - good standing. (c) Want to transfer funds out of South Africa using their Foreign Investment Allowance - FIA. (d) For emigration purposes.
